International Student Media Arts Festival
The 4th "Wonderful World" International Student Benefit Media Arts Festival was successfully held on June 4-10, 2023 at Middle Tennessee State University in the United States. Teachers and students from university teams from many countries gathered to participate in the week-long film, animation, new media arts festival activities, the theme of this event is "body and society" and "environment and animals".

The works of teachers and students from Middle Tennessee State University, Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Edinburgh Longbia University, Central Academy of Fine Arts, Kookmin University, Qingdao Film Academy, Shanghai Normal University, Macau University of Science and Technology, Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, Shanghai University Film Academy, University of Hamburg, Germany, etc. won several awards, including the "72-hour short film creation". 6 joint outstanding works on site.
At the opening ceremony on June 4, Beverly Keel, dean of the College of Media and Entertainment at Middle Tennessee State University, delivered an important speech. She is a music industry activist with international reputation, and she highly praised the organization of this festival, and said that this is an international exchange activity with social and educational significance, and expressed her blessing and welcome to the participating teachers and students on their trip to the United States. On June 5, teachers and students from various countries observed the annual outstanding works and visited the teaching and educational facilities of the Media College of Middle Tennessee State University, and from June 6 to 8, a mixed team of teachers and students from various countries began to research and experience Tennessee rural music and traditional culture, and after three days of uninterrupted joint creation in addition to their respective outstanding works of video art.
The Closing Ceremony was held at 7:00pm on June 9th, where the winning students from each country took the stage and each creative team shared their learning and experiences of the week and received their awards. Prof. Yang Jianhua (Qingdao University of Science and Technology, China), President of the "Beautiful World" Association, also delivered the closing speech and congratulated the winning students. He emphasized the importance of the festival for the growth of the students and for international cultural exchanges.
In his closing remarks, Prof. Pan Young-hwan from Kookmin University announced that the fifth edition of " Wonderful World" will be held in Seoul, Korea, at the end of May 2024, and extended invitations to exchange universities around the world. This announcement was warmly welcomed by the students and faculty present, who expressed their anticipation of participating in the next "Beautiful World" event.
